2013 Summer Camps Summary

2013 EFS Summer Camp2013 proved to be the most highly attended of any of our summer camp seasons, particularly in July. We are proud to have provided access to our players in 2013 two top, high-level guest coaches in Marco Toppmoller from Buyern Munich (Spring camps), and Leo van Veen from Ajax, Amsterdam (Summer camps).

Kamloops 2013EFS sent five teams to compete in Kamloops’ KYSA Slurpee Cup this 2013 May Victoria Day long weekend. It was a challenge to put full teams together as many of our EFS players were lost to a combination of injury, and obligations to Provincial and other high level teams. Fortunately, we were able to include guest EFS players from out of town (Salmon Arm, Quesnel, Williams Lake, 100 Mile House, Edmonton, and Red Deer), and their inclusion complemented our teams greatly.

Featuring Guest Coach LEO VAN VEEN

Leo Van VeenEFS has invited Leo van Veen, from Ajax Amsterdam to guest coach at our Summer Camps from August 20 - August 30, 2013. Leo has enjoyed a long playing and coaching career in the Netherlands with Ajax FC and FC Utrecht.
